Polymer Modification

The modification of polyolefin based polymers with VESTOPLAST® leads to improved flexibility at low temperatures and strengthened interlayer adhesion (especially in PE/PP based multilayer films). In combination with crystalline PP polymers VESTOPLAST® is able to reduce the Tg and leads to fully recyclable compounds.

POLYVEST® is used in a large variety of ways in polymer modifications due to its unique properties, esp. as it is a stereospecific polymer, low in viscosity, solvent-free and highly reactive.
